" ¡ Yo Amo el paso! I Love El Paso!

¡ Yo Amo El Paso! Inspiration

The inspiration for this work has deep roots in the events of the last year, beginning with the Walmart Massacre of August 3, 2019. Then the Covid-19 Pandemic and the murder of George Floyd occurred. Through this woeful journey I turned to what I would want to say to my grandson and other young people. I developed this image as a celebration of our city and our people. I like to think of the hearts as angels busy at their work coming and going. Blessing El Paso and encouraging us to love our land, our city and each other.
